Theological / Devotional

I have loved thee. See Deut. 7:7, 8. Because of His love for Israel God will do anything needful for them. In Moses’ day this love was demonstrated by deliverance from Pharaoh, and in Isaiah’s day, by deliverance from Sennacherib. God’s love for Israel was without partiality, for God is no “respecter of persons” (Acts 10:34). It is not nationality, but character, that counts with God (Acts 10:35).
