Theological / Devotional

Will help me. It was confidence in His Father’s love and perfect submission to His will that sustained the Saviour during His last conflict with the powers of darkness. For the confidence we may have in times of stress see Ps. 37:3-20, 32-40.

Wax old. Or, “wear out,” that is, perish (see Ps. 102:26).

The moth. Compare Isa. 51:8; see on Matt. 6:19, 20.
