Theological / Devotional

Maketli himself a prey. With these words the section beginning with v. 9 closes. The times are so evil that an upright man finds his very life in danger. Such was the situation in Judah during the reign of Manasseh, who “shed innocent blood very much” (2 Kings 21:16).
