Thirteenth year. That is, 628/27 B.C., assuming that Jeremiah reckoned years from the fall; it was 627/26 if he reckoned from the spring, as some hold (see Vol. Ill, p. 93, note 7). Either date is computed from Josiah’s death in 609 (see p. 505).
