Theological / Devotional

Lovingkindness. Heb. chesed, “divine love” (see Additional Note on Psalm 36). This verse presents the two foundations of the divine rule: God’s love and grace, and His justice (see Ex. 20:6; 34:6, 7; Ps. 85:10; Ps. 89:14).
