Theological / Devotional

Young men. The whole image presents a beautiful illustration of Oriental manners and of the respect paid to a man of character and distinction. The young men withdrew to inconspicuous corners, and the old men stood up in reverent respect. The homage paid was not so much to age as to dignity.
