Lifted up my hand. Job denies ever taking advantage of the fatherless, even when he was a magistrate and had ample power to do so. There were always those who would have provided “help” to Job in wrongdoing, but even though he had power and friends and influential support, he refused to use them to the disadvantage of the poor.
