Theological / DevotionalMy desire. Heb. tawi. Literally, “my mark.” Taw is the word translated “mark” in Eze. 9:4. Many hold that the words, “behold, my desire [taw],” refer to Job’s dramatically affixing his signature, as it were, to his appeal in this verse.
Book. Or, “document,” here, an indictment. Job seems still to be groping for a clarification of the issue between himself and God.
