See my ways. Job recognizes the all-seeing eye of God. He finds confidence in the knowledge that God is aware of his purity, and he is encouraged to continue in the paths of righteousness by the thought of his responsibility to God (see Job 34:21; Ps. 139:3; Prov. 5:21 ; 15:3).
