Theological / DevotionalInto Judea again. Jesus had recently left Judea because of the hostility of the Jews (John 10:39, 40; see on Matt. 19:1). In His suggestion that they return, He did not mention Lazarus, and apparently Lazarus was not in the disciples’ mind, as their reply would seem to indicate (see John 11:8).
