Theological / Devotional

Ought. Gr. opheilō, “to be obligated.” Opheilō is rendered “to owe” in Matt. 18:28, and “to be duty” in Luke 17:10; Rom. 15:27. Christ’s example of humble service was to be copied by His followers. The service demanded of them was a self-forgetting ministry of love that places the interest and conveniences of self behind and below those of others.
