Theological / Devotional

Dost thou wash my feet? The emphasis in the Greek is upon the pronouns “thou” and “my”: “Dost thou wash my feet?” Some commentators suggest that Peter may have drawn up his legs when he spoke these words. The act would be in harmony with his impulsive nature (Matt. 16:22; John 13:37). See on Mark 2:15.
