Commentary on John 13:9

Theological / Devotional

Not my feet only. Another of Peter’s characteristic impetuous outbursts. Realizing that by refusing his Master he faced the prospect of separation from Him, Peter immediately surrendered, but characteristically even now sought to give further advice to his Master. He did not as yet understand the significance of the act.
