Theological / Devotional

They have known. That is, according to the Greek, “they have come to know and are now aware.” Christ’s relationship with the Father, the God whom the Jews worshiped, was a point of constant emphasis in the teachings of Jesus (chs. 8; 10; etc.). The Jews charged Him with blasphemy and branded Him an impostor for claiming that God was His Father, but the disciples were persuaded of His true origin and identity.
