Theological / Devotional

Of his disciples. Doubtless concerning the conditions Jesus laid down for discipleship, and indirectly concerning Jesus’ assumed position. They were seeking to fasten upon Him the charge of sedition.

Doctrine. That is, “teaching” (see on ch. 7:16).
