Theological / Devotional

Them. Textual evidence favors (cf. p. 146) the omission of this word. The context seems to indicate that Jesus directed His remarks to the people generally, not simply to the Temple police sent to arrest Him, as the pronoun “them” might seem to indicate.

A little while. From the Feast of Tabernacles to the Passover the following spring, when Jesus was crucified, was about six months. Three years of His ministry was in the past and but half a year remained.
