Ye shall seek me. There is probably a reference here to the future judgment, when men will lament their rejection of Christ, but will seek salvation in vain, because it is too late (see Jer. 8:20; Amos 8:11, 12; Matt. 7:21-23; 25:11, 12; Luke 13:25-30).
