Theological / Devotional

Brethren believe. They knew He worked miracles, for they had no doubt seen Him perform them. Even now they were hoping He would go to Jerusalem and dazzle the eyes of the assembled multitudes with His miracles. But in spite of the miracles they were filled with doubt and unbelief. Jesus did not fulfill their concept of the Messiah, and they doubted that He ever would. Perhaps they felt He was too retiring, and were trying to give Him the encouragement of which they thought He was in need.
