Theological / Devotional

After the flesh. They judged the human side of Jesus, not discerning His divinity. The expression occurs also in 1 Cor. 1 :26; 2 Cor. 5:16. Compare John 7:24.

I judge no man. Jesus’ present work was not that of judgment but of salvation (see on eh. 3:17). Not till the end of the age will He “judge the quick and the dead” (2 Tim. 4:1 ; cf. Acts 10:42; 2 Cor. 5:10).
