Theological / Devotional

Honour myself. The Jews had asked, “Whom makest thou thyself?” The implication of the question was that Jesus lacked valid credentials. Yet He had repeatedly denied that He was a self-appointed envoy (chs. 7:28; 8:28, 38, 42, 50), and now once more asserts that His honor came from His Father.
