Theological / Devotional

Feared the Lord. So manifest was the Lord’s power over nature in this episode and so striking had been the fulfillment of Jonah’s words (v. 12), there is small wonder the sailors reacted as they did.

Offered a sacrifice. The men did what in their limited knowledge they thought to be most appropriate.
