Theological / Devotional

Brother of Caleb. It is believed that Kenaz, and not Othniel, was the full brother of Caleb (see ch. 14:6). Othniel later proved himself worthy both of his work and wages, for he afterward became a deliverer and a judge in Israel (Judges 3:9-11).
