Theological / Devotional

Helkath. A city given later to the Levites (ch. 21:31). Perhaps the modern Tell el-Harbaj, 11 1/2 mi. (18.4 km.) south of Acre.

Achshaph. Referred to in chs. 11:1 and 12:20. Its location is unknown, but was probably in the vicinity of Helkath.
