Theological / Devotional

Silver, and gold. No doubt heed was given to the specific instruction to burn all graven images with fire, for they were an abomination to the Lord (Deut. 7:25).

Consecrated. Perhaps by first being passed through the fire, as commanded in Num. 31:21-23.
