Theological / DevotionalKings of Canaan. Sisera’s army may possibly have included kings of the neighboring fortified Canaanite cities like Taanach and Megiddo, two cities on the southern bank of the river; but the daring attacks of the men of Zebulun and Naphtali apparently overran these strongholds in the confusion of battle.
No gain. In the place of receiving rich war booty as a result of joining Sisera’s campaign, these kings lost both their cities and their lives.
