Theological / Devotional

Sprinkle his blood. The ritual was the same as for a bullock. In this case nothing is said of placing the hand on the head of the animal, but doubtless this was done. As in the case of a bullock, the priest stood ready to receive the blood and to sprinkle it round about upon the altar (see on v. 5).
