Commentary on Leviticus 1:8

Theological / Devotional

Lay the parts. The lesson of orderliness is the same as in v. 7. All parts of the victim were to be placed in position on the altar as in the living animal, on the wood which was also “in order.” Says the apostle, “Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Cor. 14:40). This is good NT Christianity.
