Theological / Devotional

Wash his flesh. Aaron had come in contact with sin. This had not defiled him to the extent that he must offer a sin offering. He must bathe, however, after which he was to put on the golden garments. He then offered the usual evening burnt offering, both for himself and for the people. With this the round of ceremonies for another year began.
