Theological / Devotional

The deaf. We may not curse the deaf because he cannot hear, nor put a stumbling block in the way of the blind because he cannot see. To do so is both dishonest and cruel. Says God, “Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way” (Deut. 27:18; cf. Job 29:15). Those who are physically handicapped deserve special consideration. But let them not trade upon their impediment.
