Theological / Devotional

On the eighth day, after seven days of consecration, Aaron offered his first sacrifice. He had not previously performed priestly service for the people. His instruction was thorough but the day was likely anxious.

Moses called Aaron, his sons, and the elders to bring sacrifices and begin work. The people gathered before the Lord (v. 5).
