Theological / Devotional

After offering for himself, Aaron proceeded with the people’s offerings. The procedure differed somewhat as this was his first time officiating for the people. The people’s sin offering was usually a bullock with blood brought into the sanctuary’s first apartment (Leviticus 4:14,17-18), but here it was a goat. Except on the Day of Atonement, goat’s blood was not brought into the sanctuary. Aaron followed Moses’ instructions exactly.
