Theological / Devotional

Wisdom of God. See on Matt. 23:34. According to 1 Cor. 1:24, 30, Jesus Himself is “the wisdom of God” incarnate, but it is doubtful that Jesus here refers to Himself. More likely He means, “God in His wisdom.” There is no book known to have borne this expression as its title.
