A Galilcean. [Hearing Before Herod Antipas, Luke 23:6-12. See Betrayal, Trial and Crucifixion of Jesus; Passion Week, and Palestine Under the Herodians.] Only Luke records this incident in the trial of Jesus. The most successful and impressive part of Christ’s ministry had been in Galilee. Though born in Bethlehem, Jesus had been brought up in Galilee, and had spent practically all of His life there.
