Theological / Devotional

Our rulers. The two disciples know the facts and place the blame where it belongs. They do not blame the common people, who accepted Jesus as a prophet, nor do they hold the Roman authorities accountable. The death of Jesus was the work of the leaders of the Jewish nation (see Matt. 27:2).
