Theological / Devotional

Jesus himself. Jesus had entered the room unseen at the same time the two disciples from Emmaus had been admitted (see DA 802), but was invisible to those in the room (see on v. 16). For John’s eyewitness account of Jesus’ appearance upon this occasion see John 20:19-23.
