Theological / Devotional

Broiled fish. A common article of diet in ancient Palestine (see on John 21:9). Several of the disciples had been fishermen prior to their call to discipleship (see on Luke 5:1-11).

And of an honeycomb. Textual evidence favors (cf. p. 146) the omission of these words.
