Theological / Devotional

Stout against me. Or, “firm against me” (see Jude 15). The LXX reads, “Ye have spoken grievous words against me.” The prophet here contrasts the wicked murmuring of the people (Mal. 3:13-15) with the reward that those faithful to God will receive (vs. 16-18). See p. 1122.
