Theological / Devotional

Considered not. Their attention was not upon the miracle they had just witnessed, but upon their own disappointment that Jesus had not allowed Himself to be crowned king (see on v. 42).

Hardened. See on Ex. 4:21. The hearts of the disciples were “hardened” in the sense that they did not understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves and the fishes.
