Commentary on Micah 5:4

Theological / Devotional

Stand. As “the good shepherd,” the Messiah, Christ, would “stand” firm in the care and defense of His sheep.

Feed. The Septuagint adds “his flock.”

Unto the ends. The Messiah’s dominion would be universal (see Psalm 2:7, 8; 72:8; Luke 1:30-33).
