Theological / Devotional

Good. That God is “good” in character and action was best demonstrated by the One who was God incarnate (see John 10:11; Acts 10:38). While Nahum was a messenger of destruction to the Assyrians, he was a minister of comfort and consolation to his own people, assuring them that the Lord would be their “strong hold” in the “day of trouble” (see Ps. 61:2, 3).
