Theological / Devotional

Ziklag. Celebrated as the town given to David by Achish, king of Gath (1 Sam. 27:6), and soon afterward taken by the Amalekites (1 Sam. 30:1). It was perhaps at the present site of Tell el-Khuweilfeh, some 10 mi. (16 km.) to the north of Beersheba.

Mekonah. An unknown place.
