Commentary on Nehemiah 9:31

Theological / Devotional

Nor forsake them. In spite of these judgments, God, according to His promise (Jeremiah 4:27 ; 5:10, 18; 30:11; etc.), did not utterly forsake His people, nor make a full end of them. God’s merciful dealings with the transgressors was for the purpose of preserving a remnant through whom He might fulfill these promises.
