Theological / Devotional

Thy glorious name. The high honor due to the “name” of God is taught by the authors of Holy Scripture, from Mt. Sinai (Exodus 20:7) to the Isle of Patinos (Revelation 15:4), from the Pentateuch to the book of Revelation. The “glorious name” is an expression which occurs a few times in the Bible, but the exact Hebrew words used here are found elsewhere only in Psalm 72:19.
