Theological / Devotional

Madest a covenant. An allusion to Genesis 15:18-21; 17:7, 8. For additional mention of the Canaanite nations, see Exodus 3:8; Deuteronomy 7:1.

Righteous. God is called righteous, for His commands and His character agree (see Deuteronomy 32:4).
