Theological / Devotional

No wrath. The Levites were responsible outside the tabernacle, as the priests were within. The priests were to care for all the holy things, such as the shewbread (the bread of the Presence), the lamps, etc., and to cover them when they were to be moved. The Levites were to see that members of the congregation did not inadvertently or impiously profane the sanctuary.
