Theological / Devotional

Egypt. The experiences of the children of Israel were well known among the surrounding nations.

We cried. See Ex. 2:23-25 ; 3:7, 8.

Sent an angel. See Gen. 24:7; Ex. 3:2 ; 23:20; 33:2. The Angel in this case was Christ Himself, the eternal Prince of God’s people (PP 366).

Brought us forth. See Ex. 13:21 ; 14:19.
