From Nahaliel to Bamoth. On the borders of Moab. Nahaliel, “the wadi of God,” which has been tentatively identified with the Wadi Zerga Ma‘in. Similarly, Bamoth, “heights,” may be the same as Bamoth-baal (Joshua 13:17, or “the high places of Baal” (Num. 22:41).
