Theological / Devotional

Dibon. There is a modern Diban 3 mi. north of the Amon (see Jer. 48:18, 22), adjacent to the ancient Dibon, which lies in ruins today. It was here that the famous Moabite Stone was found in 1868.

Nophah. See Judges 8:11.

Medeba. Identified with modern Madeba. Its name appears in the Moabite stone as Mehedeba.
