Theological / Devotional

God putteth in my mouth. Balaam intimates to Balak that he is under restrictions however much he may regret it (see Num. 23:5, 12, 16; 1 Kings 22:14).

Kirjath-huzoth. Literally, “the city of streets.” The site is unknown. Some commentators identify it with Kirjathaim (ch. 32:37).
