Commentary on Proverbs 1:33

Theological / Devotional

Whoso hearkeneth. Those who give heed to the wise counsel of God and obey the precepts of wisdom remain peaceful in a world of woe. While their hearts are touched with pity for those who suffer, they have no fear for themselves. They look forward with confidence to the salvation that has been promised (see Ps. 16:9).
